Welcome to Leksand
The Municipality of Leksand is beautifully situated by Lake Siljan’s south shore and the Dala River. Around 15,300 people live here.
Leksand comprises the urban areas Leksand, Insjön, Tällberg, Siljansnäs, and Djura, plus ninety-four genuine villages. During the summer, there is a threefold increase in the number of visitors to Leksand and the Siljan area.
